Welcome to St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church! On behalf of my family, deacons, and faithful families, we're glad you chose to visit our site. It is not by chance that God has led you there! I pray that you experience anew the incredible love, grace, joy, and peace of our Lord as you navigate through these pages.

Our purpose as a church is to bring glory to God. We do that as we sing and pray together, serve and love one another, and hear and apply God's Word in our lives. We are passionate about learning to follow God in our lives and gathering together in a service of worship and teaching like this is critical to the growth of our faith.

It is a blessing to serve God in the mission field of St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church with these brothers and sisters of all ages, backgrounds, and occupations. As a part of our mission, we would love to be of help to you. Please take a few minutes to peruse the various ministries we offer. We would love for you to join us, as we serve God with a Christ-centered focus.

We hope that you and your family will visit our church and be blessed by your visit with us In Christ.

Message of Sunday March 29 2020
Do Not Be Afraid

Dear brothers and sisters;

Following the advice from our Primer and guidance from the Health Authorities to limit the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our church doors effective March 22nd until further notice. This means that there will be no worship service this Sunday.

This is one way that we can do our part to promote social distancing and flatten the curve in the spread of the coronavirus. Please be assured that our church leadership team is available to support you via phone calls and emails. We also encourage you to spend your Sunday morning in worship.

Here are some churches that are streaming their service:
  • The Village Church - Matt Chandler
  • Hope Church Toronto

We are committed in keeping our beloved church family, friends and visitors healthy and safe. Continue to practice proper hygiene, wash your hand and minimize your outings. Keep a positive attitude and don't be overwhelmed with fear. The Lord is our protector and He will protect us from deadly pestilence. We will keep you posted of further developments.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Pastor Nathan
